2 x 4Narrow Band (25kHz) MiMO solution providing 4 POTS Telephony CCTs (Voice, Fax, Data) plus 4 Broad Band data ports (256kb/s combined) over 30km using roof height antennas for rural communications.  World leading spectral efficiency of 12.8b/hz/s proving that MiMO in narrowband UHF is viable.

RDL product wins prestigious award for the most innovative new product at IEE symposium in the same year.

Co-founders Paul Daigneault (CEO) and Doug McConnell (CTO) establish MiMOMax as separate legal entity, taking with them 14 top wireless research engineers to start new business to commercialise narrowband MiMO opportunities. 

2008   February

MiMO platform optimised for ultra low latency and very high reliability required in mission critical applications such as powerline protection.  Providing protection, SCADA and voice to remote substations in one RF platform.  First commercial orders received and single antenna array working.

Standard Narrowband MiMO Ethernet linking product with a variety of configurable interfaces released.  Packaged in both indoor and outdoor configurations, with and with out additional diversity.  Encryption. OTAR, OTAP & remote monitoring options available.

Point to Multi-Point IP linking product with high performance multi-access protocol and adaptive modulation scheme released.  First commercial implementation of Point to Multi-point.
