New MiMOMax Indoor / Outdoor Configuration

New MiMOMax Indoor / Outdoor Solution 

MiMOMax has introduced a new Indoor/Outdoor solution, comprising of a stand alone Radio Modem with various mounting options.  The Radio Modem is water proof to IP67 and may be rack, wall, pole or in some cases antenna mounted. 

The Radio Modem configuration has some provision for interfacing (Ethernet) but more complex interfaces will require connection to a rack mounted interface controller. Provision for connection to an additional space diversity radio modem is also provided.  Connections to the interface controller and the additional diversity receiver are by low cost Cat 5 cable. 

The advantages of this are clear;

•    Eliminate any cable losses associated with long co-ax runs.
•    Eliminate costly RF low loss cables and connectors.
•    Enable considerable spatial diversity where required.
•    Enable most flexible configurations for each application.

Indoor /Outdoor configurations will be available in the last qtr of 2008.
